This Privacy Policy explains how MyPaattu (“MyPaattu”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), a product operated by Growvior Software Private Limited, collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects your personal information when you access mypaattu.com, the MyPaattu mobile application, and related services (together, the “Platform”). By using the Platform, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

• Account information — your name, email address, profile photo, username, and preferences, provided when you register or update your account.
• Content you create — the text prompts you enter, the lyrics, songs, cover art, voice recordings or uploads (for voice-to-song), and any tracks you edit or generate in the Studio.
• Payment information — when you subscribe to a paid plan, payments are processed by our payment partner, Razorpay. We receive limited transaction details (such as plan, amount, status, and a payment reference). We do not store your full card or bank details on our servers.
• Usage & device data — pages visited, features used, generation counts, IP address, browser and device type, and approximate location, collected automatically to operate and improve the Platform.
• Support communications — messages you send us by email, WhatsApp, or the in-app assistant/support form.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide, operate, and maintain the Platform, including generating songs, lyrics, and cover art from your prompts.
• To create and manage your account, enforce plan limits, and process subscriptions and payments.
• To personalise your experience and show you your library, history, and recommendations.
• To communicate with you about your account, transactions, support requests, security, and (where you have opted in) product updates and offers.
• To improve, secure, and troubleshoot the Platform, prevent abuse and fraud, and comply with legal obligations.

3. AI Generation and Your Content

Your prompts and inputs are sent to our AI providers (see “Sharing” below) to generate the music, lyrics, and artwork you request. We may use aggregated and de-identified data to monitor quality and improve our services. We will not publish content you have marked as private or unlisted to the public Explore/Community areas. Songs generated on the free plan are licensed for personal, non-commercial use; commercial use requires a paid plan (see our Terms of Service).

4. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, measure traffic, and understand how the Platform is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings, but some features may not work correctly without them. See our Cookie Policy for details.

5. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed with:

• Infrastructure & AI providers — Google Firebase (authentication, database, and storage) and Google Cloud / Vertex AI (music and image generation), which process data to deliver the service.
• Payment processing — Razorpay, to securely process subscription payments.
• Communications — our email provider (Brevo) to send transactional and support emails.
• Legal & safety — authorities or third parties where required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users and the Platform.

These providers are permitted to use your data only to perform services for us and are bound by their own privacy and security obligations.

6. Data Storage, Security, and Retention

Your data is stored using industry-standard providers with encryption in transit and at rest where supported. We apply technical and organisational measures to protect your information from unauthorised access, alteration, or disclosure. We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Platform, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You can delete most of your content and your account at any time; some records (such as transaction logs) may be retained as required by law.

7. International Data Transfers

We are based in India and use global cloud providers. Your information may be processed in countries other than your own, which may have different data-protection laws. Where required, we take steps to ensure your data receives an adequate level of protection.

8. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location and applicable law (including India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act), you may have the right to:

• Access, correct, or update the personal information we hold about you.
• Delete your account and associated personal data.
• Withdraw consent or object to certain processing, and opt out of marketing communications.
• Request a copy of your data or lodge a grievance about how it is handled.

9. Children's Privacy

The Platform is not intended for children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you through the Platform or by email. Your continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
